The rugged ATX8 cargo/troop carrier is part of our new family of highly mobile, heavy-duty tactical trucks. An 8x8 logistics truck, it can transport 16 troops or goods up to 21,000 kg. Optional body variations include a remote operated crane that is ideal for recovery missions.

Navistar Defense and Tatra, a Czech heavy-duty truck manufacturer, are jointly developing the new ATX tactical vehicles using Navistar engines and Tatra chassis and suspension systems. Tatra’s chassis and independent suspension system has been proven in-theater and this joint venture gives Navistar customers even more dependable vehicle options.

MaxxForce 12.4D
The MaxxForce 12.4D is a heavy duty I-6 diesel that really brings the power. Churning out up to 550 HP and 1800 lb-ft of torque, it’s designed to drive medium-to-heavy wheeled military vehicles and medium tracked military vehicles.
