Navistar was awarded its first Canadian military contract for Military Commercial off the Shelf (MilCOTS) vehicles. Navistar leverages its commercial engineering, manufacturing and sustainment expertise to create, modify and deliver MilCOTS variants to meet Canadian DND mission requirements. The MilCOTS vehicles utilize the 7000-MV platform, which allows for the Canadian military to customize the vehicle, including the option for upgrades and additional military components to tailor the vehicles for mission use. The six vehicle variants include General Truck Transporters, International Organization for Standardization (ISO) container transporters, as well as additional equipment such as augers and cranes.
