President, Navistar Defense, LLC

Archie Massicotte is president of Navistar Defense, LLC., maker of International® brand military trucks and an operating unit of Warrenville, Ill.-based Navistar International Corporation, the nation’s largest combined commercial truck, school and commercial bus, and mid-range diesel engine manufacturer. In this capacity, Mr. Massicotte manages all worldwide military and governmental business.

Massicotte has transformed the Military business from an incidental business to a full service organization. Navistar Defense has designed and built trucks for use in Iraq, Afghanistan, Taiwan, for the U.S. Army and U.S. Marine Corps. Navistar has also provided armored products to the Government of Israel – Ministry of Defense and government contractors.

The success of Navistar's military business revolves around Massicotte's commitment to after-sale support for each and every customer. In doing so, he has expanded the dealer support network to more than 75 countries to include pre-positioning spares, diagnostic equipment and trained technicians in sensitive combat theaters around the world before vehicles are delivered; this has become the cornerstone of his success.

Massicotte has more than 30 years of experience with Navistar. Prior to serving as president of the defense business, he served as Director of Manufacturing for Blue Diamond Truck J.V. (BDT), a joint venture with Ford Motor Company. He was instrumental in the creation and execution of the transformational manufacturing strategy for the BDT, which was successfully launched in December 2002. He also had responsibility for directing worldwide manufacturing efforts for the export business. Massicotte's career also includes more than 20 years of experience in various positions within Navistar's Engine Group and has been instrumental to the growth of the company to its current position as worldwide leader in the sale of medium (Class 5-7) trucks and mid-size diesel engines.



Vice President, Navistar Defense, LLC

Bob Walsh is Vice President of Navistar Defense. Walsh has helped lead the military group since its inception nearly four years ago. Walsh was instrumental in taking this business from concept to reality. He has been actively involved in every aspect of the military business - researching opportunities, developing sources, evaluating potential contracts, learning the technical operations, and ensuring delivery of reliable, high quality vehicles.

Walsh joined International in 2000 as the Manager, Business Planning and Finance. He quickly progressed to more responsible positions within the Finance organization before joining our team in 2003. Walsh holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Loyola University and an MBA with a concentration in Finance, Marketing and Strategy from Northwestern University.



Director, Government Business and Government Affairs
Navistar Defense, LLC

Pat MacArevey is the Director of Government Business and Government Affairs. In this role, he is responsible for managing the Navistar Defense office in Washington, DC.

MacArevey joined Navistar with more than 28 years of leadership experience in the Defense, Government, and Energy industries. His knowledge and experience in business development, financial management and strategic planning make him an asset to the Navistar organization. A United States Military Academy graduate, MacArevey served 12 years in the U.S. Army achieving the rank of Major.
